Mr. Hart graduated cum laude from Abilene Christian University in 1983 and went to law school at Texas Tech University School of Law, graduating in 1986. He continued his legal education by attending the Temple University Beasley School of Law, earning a Master of Laws degree and graduating with honors, in 2013. He is admitted to practice law in Texas state courts and all four federal district courts and in Texas, as well as in front of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. He has been certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and as a Specialist in Personal Injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

His professionalism and hard work have earned Mr. Hart recognition from his peers in the legal profession and from the community at large. Among other honors he has received, The Attorney Peer Review Service Martindale-Hubbell gave him its highest rating, AV Preeminent.*
